Резюме: Неадекватное использование дезинфектантов, необоснованное микробиологическое исследование объектов окружающей среды стационара, а также сложная и нерациональная политика по поддержанию безопасности окружающей среды не являются экономически эффективными и обеспечивают низкую комплаентность этих процедур в странах с ограниченными ресурсами. Рациональные, простые протоколы, основанные на принципах ИК, соблюдение процедуры мытья рук и здравый смысл позволят добиться успеха в снижении роли факторов окружающей среды стационара в качестве источника инфекций для пациентов.
